Today in Beijing, China six people were sentenced to death for murders and other crimes in July riots, and a seventh was sentenced to life in prison. 200 people where killed in the riots in Western china and prompted by resentment between minority Uyghurs, who are mostly Muslims, and majority Han Chinese. http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/10/12/china.xinjiang/index.html
