In Tanzania a landslide triggered by heavy rain killed 20 people, 12 being children. This disaster took place near Mount Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania, the mountain being the highest point of Africa. The U.N has warned Africa of mudslides, crop destruction, and waterborne diseases that could be caused by these extreme weather conditions.
